Solimar Pneumatics offer a family of The Original and Best Silo Fluidizers that promote the discharge of dry products from storage silos, dust collectors, weigh bins and IBCs.

Solimar Fluidizers enable a uniform flow of most dry bulk materials through aeration and hopper wall vibration that helps prevent bridging, rat holing and compacting.

Solimar’s Fluidizer helps to discharge dry products like cement, flour, feed and lime. Instead of only aerating the product like fabric aerator pads, Solimar Fluidizers use air movement and vibration to facilitate the flow of dry bulk materials. The air movement from the Fluidizer sweeps the product off the silo wall and allows for even flow to the discharge outlet. Utilizing a variety of fitting sizes, the Solimar Fluidizer can be used with high-pressure compressed air or low-pressure air from a blower. The patented Fluidizer disk is made of food grade silicone which is tear resistant and can withstand temperatures of 170°C (350° F). Non-Food grade, high temperature disks are also available. These disks can withstand temperatures of 230° C (450° F) Solimar can provide charts detailing air consumption rates and pressure requirements. With dimensional information provided by the customer, Solimar can also make recommendations on Fluidizer quantity and placement.

  1. Thanks for posting your video. It was well done and helped me understand how your fluidizer or flow aid works. My only question is what kind of air compressors are needed to make your fluidizer work? You mention that high and low-pressure work, but not te actual size compressor I might need.

  2. Solimar offers two different models of our Fluidizer. One uses high pressure, compressed air. The other model uses low pressure, high volume air from a blower. We are not able to recommend what type or size of compressor to use. However, each high pressure model uses 15 m3/hr at 2-3 bar. For most applications you are only operating four Fluidizers at one time. With this information a compressor manufacturer will be able to suggest the size to use.
