Siwertell Ship Unloader chosen for South Texas Cement’s Corpus Christi Terminal

Bjuv, Sweden Siwertell, part of Bruks Siwertell Group, has secured an order from US-based GCCM Holdings LCC to supply a high-capacity ship unloader for South Texas Cement’s terminal in the US port of Corpus Christi. The Siwertell ST 640-M unit will have a continuous rated cement-handling capacity of 1,500t/h and will be able to unload ships of up to 60,000 dwt. ContiTech supplies White Conveyor Belts for one of Europe’s largest Sugar Terminals

These ensure that the sugar remains clean throughout the entire journey from the field to the supermarket. Kamigumi establishes Company for Development of a Bulk Terminal in Myanmar

Hyogo, Japan — Japanese logistics company Kamigumi have announced to establish a terminal operating company named International Bulk Terminal (Thilawa) Co., Ltd. (IBTT) mainly focusing on the handling of grain, feed and other bulk cargo at the Thilawa region of Yangon port in Myanmar as a joint venture with Lluvia Ltd. of Myanmar. The new terminal to be build will cover an area of 80,000 square meters and is scheduled for completion in April 2019.
