Bjuv, Sweden – With the first installation of its new, modular conveyor system in Indonesia at a coal intake terminal in Cilegon, operated by industrial chemical producer, Asahimas Chemical, Siwertell shows that innovation is a welcome aspect of the bulk handling industry. Used to transfer bulk cargoes from unloaders to depot, this modularised version of Siwertell’s standard belt conveyor system was developed in late 2014.
Limena (PD), Italy – ONT, part of the BEDESCHI Group, was commissioned by OCRIM with a new belt conveyor system for grain in Yanbu Port – Saudi Arabia. The order comprises a system of three belt conveyors with a width of 1400 mm and a length of 180 m+360 m+36 m transporting 1000 t/h grain from the client ship-unloader on the jetty to the existing storage bins.
Bjuv, Sweden – Siwertell, part of Bruks Siwertell Group, has secured an order from US-based GCCM Holdings LCC to supply a high-capacity ship unloader for South Texas Cement’s terminal in the US port of Corpus Christi. The Siwertell ST 640-M unit will have a continuous rated cement-handling capacity of 1,500t/h and will be able to unload ships of up to 60,000 dwt. Helsinki, Finland – Cargotec has signed an agreement with JCE Invest AB to establish a joint venture, Bruks Siwertell Group, specialised in dry bulk handling. The new joint venture will own Siwertell AB (previously part of Kalmar Business Area within Cargotec) and BRUKS Holding AB (previously part of JCE Group).
Siwertell to deliver a high-capacity ship unloader to a grain terminal
March 7, 2016 – Siwertell, part of Cargotec, has received an order from a port development company for a high-capacity ship unloader destined to serve a busy grain terminal. The ST640-M screw-type unloader has been ordered as part of an ongoing development programme and will replace an old mechanical unloader.
