Fortescue Metals: USD 2.6 billion Stage 2 Development of Iron Bridge Magnetite Project approved

East Perth (WA), Australia – Fortescue Metals Group subsidiary FMG Magnetite and its joint venture partner Formosa Steel IB have approved the development of Stage 2 of the Iron Bridge Magnetite Project. The Stage 2 development includes a wet ore processing facility with a capacity 22 million mtpa, a 135 km concentrate pipeline, as well as port handling facilities including concentrate dewatering, covered storage and reclaiming/conveying to existing port outload circuits. Bolovia/ACI Systems in JV to extract and process Lithium from Salar de Uyuni Salt Lake

Berlin, Germany – On 12 December 2018, the Bolivian state-owned company Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos (YLB) and the German company ACI Systems Alemania GmbH (ACISA) founded the joint venture YLB-ACISA. The aim of the joint venture is the sustainable extraction and industrialization of lithium, as well as other raw materials from Salar de Uyuni, the world’s largest salt lake. Metso adds Production Capacity in India to meet the Demand for Aggregates Equipment
