BHS-Sonthofen Appoints New Mixing Division Sales Manager for U.S. Site

Sonthofen, Germany, January 24, 2017  –  Mike Kerins is the new Mixing Division Sales Manager at the American subsidiary BHS-Sonthofen Inc. based in Charlotte, North Carolina. BHS-Sonthofen has appointed him to further strengthen the sales team, which has quadrupled the number of mixers installed in North America since 2011. Moreover, BHS is now offering its customers the option to carry out material and field tests at their own facilities by providing laboratory mixers on a rental basis from the Charlotte location.

The Netzsch Business Unit Grinding & Dispersing, with headquarters in Selb, will acquire the company ECUTEC Barcelona SL effective  November 17,  2016.
ECUTEC is a leading supplier of production equipment and process solutions for the dry processing of minerals. The company’s primary focus is ultrafine grinding and classification as well as special surface coatings of such products. Founded in Germany in 1996, ECUTEC now has headquarters in Barcelona, where it employs a staff of 25.

MTI Mischtechnik: MTI C tec PRO provides batch mixing without downtimes

Detmold and Düsseldorf, Germany, October 19 , 2016C tec PRO is an all newly developed, fully automatic container mixer system launched by MTI Mischtechnik. Unlike all previous machines designed for this kind of task, it imposes no idle time for cleaning in the event of a recipe switch. For each new batch, the new MTI C tec PRO changes the relevant container along with its lid carrying the pre-fitted mixing tool. This makes for a virtually continuous operation and hence, a significant increase in the number of batches completed. Moreover, the container size and mixing tool configuration are adaptable to individual requirements and can be optimized for the production volume of each given batch. The high level of automation ensures that the potential time savings are actually realized in real-life industrial operation, irrespective of the number of batches handled.
