TAKRAF 700-liter Bucket-Wheel Excavator starts Operation at major Lignite Mine in India

Leipzig, Germany – A major mining and power generation company in India, has recently put into operation a new TAKRAF designed and built BWE of 700-liter capacity at an important lignite mining operation. The order for the machine, with a design capacity of 1400 m3/h, was issued to TAKRAF’s Indian office in 2015 and encompassed the design, manufacture, assembly/erection of all mechanical, structural, electrical components, testing, commissioning and hand over.
