This usually caused many storage, handling, discharge and replacement issues in their internal logistics system. The move towards larger storage silos linked to a vast duct network became mandatory.

Demand is more for solutions providers and not so much for product suppliers
The chemical industry is witnessing rapidly increasing requirements in the area of conveying and loading technology and in the fields of packaging and palletizing. BEUMER reacted to the increasing throughput rates in the chemical industry with its high-capacity palletizing system BEUMER paletpac® 2500. The use of a newly designed rotatable clamp system turns the filled bags into the desired packing pattern at an exceptional speed. This system enables the BEUMER palletizing technology to reach a top capacity of up to 2500 bags per hour.
Vom Bauboom in Indien profitiert auch die ACC Wadi, die zur Schweizer Holcim-Gruppe gehört. Der indische Zementhersteller hat deshalb in Wadi im südindischen Bundesstaat Karnataka die Leistung seines Werks auf 13.000 Tagestonnen ausgebaut. Dafür lieferte die BEUMER Group als Generalunternehmer schlüsselfertig ein Hochleistungs-Gurtbecherwerk vom Typ HGBW-HC 1250 x 175,3 m. Dieses ist mit einem Achsabstand von 175,3 Metern derzeit das höchste weltweit.
The ACC Ltd., part of the Lafarge-Holcim Group, is also benefiting from the construction boom in India. The Indian cement manufacturer has therefore expanded the capacity of its factory in Wadi in the south Indian state of Karnataka to 13,000 tonnes per day. The BEUMER Group as main (EPC) contractor reveived a repeat order on turnkey basis, for high-performance belt bucket elevator, type HGBW-HC 1250 x 175.3 m. With a distance between centers of 175.3 meters, this is currently the highest in the world.
