Gerber The Dual Carry Conveyor (DCC) at Namakwa Sands was designed, constructed and commissioned by Tekpro Projects in 2002, complete with its unique ‘Pretzel’ top and bottom strand swop over system. As well as simultaneously carrying material in both directions, the DCC has also been extended over the years from its initial length of 3.5 km, via an intermediate length of 4.7 km to its current length of 6.3 km.
