IPB 2015 Shanghai

Countdown for the IPB 2015

  • New venue: Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing (CECIS)
  • 80 per cent of planned exhibition space already booked
  • Around 200 exhibitors and 8,000 visitors expected

The International Powder & Bulk Solids Processing Conference & Exhibition (IPB) is China’s most important international platform for power and bulk solids technologies. For experts from all over the world, the three-day event is the ideal platform for meeting leading manufacturers and discussing new solutions in process technology. This year the IPB will take place for the first time at the new venue of CECIS-Shanghai from 28 to 30 October. Around 200 exhibitors and more than 8,000 trade visitors are expected, primarily from the chemical, pharmaceutical, foodstuffs and animal feed sectors.

Registration numbers are already looking very positive for this 13th IPB event and organisers NürnbergMesse China Co., Ltd and the Chinese Society of Particuology are more than satisfied. As well as numerous international market leaders such as Hosokawa, Malvern and NETZSCH, the trade fair will once again showcase a large number of SMEs. The range of processes and products on display includes basic mechanical process technologies, plant engineering and processing components, particle analysis and characterisation and areas such as nanotechnology, control and instrumentation, safety and environmental technology and services.

Set for growth with a new venue

Last year the IPB recorded a seven per cent increase in visitor numbers, the majority of whom came from the chemical industry (36%), followed by minerals processing (12%), foodstuffs and animal feed (11%) and pharmaceuticals (9%).

To fully exploit its growth potential the event has switched venues. In 2015 the IPB will be held for the first time at the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing (CECIS). This ultra-modern exhibition and conference centre offers 16,000 m² of covered exhibition space over three levels and is located at the heart of the Changfeng Eco-Business Zone close to Shanghai-Hongqiao airport. It therefore offers the ideal conditions for the estimated around 200 exhibitors to exploit the promising business opportunities offered by the Chinese powder and bulk solids industry.

Parallel conference programme offers wealth of know-how

As well as the broad range of products on display in the exhibition halls, knowledge transfer is also a focus of the IPB 2015. The accompanying conference programme once again promises knowledge and expertise from professionals for professionals and provides a great networking opportunity for industry insiders from China and around the world.
The conference will put the spotlight on the main topics of nano-coatings and nano-coating technologies, particle measurement and characterisation as well as conveying technologies.

More information about the event and the programme for the accompanying conference will shortly be available from: www.ipbexpo.com
