APEX is a device that can fit in a user’s pocket to travel with the maintenance team and can be placed on any vibratory equipment to track vibrations and more. The device connects to the user’s smart device via General Kinematics’ free app to sync with APEX and view the equipment’s real-time data. The systems allows users to monitor vibration, stroke, frequency, and more at the click of a button. The company says highlights of APEX include planning maintenance from actual data; replacing parts pre-failure to minimize costly downtime; and easy sending of data to the General Kinematics’ field service team.
According to General Kinematics, their all-new VERTEX device takes monitoring of vibratory equipment to a whole new level. Capable of monitoring equipment 24/7, VERTEX transmits this data to the user’s personal Barrier Portal. It can also send text alerts to the user’s phone to let him know immediately if there is anything amiss. With advanced service options, General Kinematics will help the user monitor and troubleshoot these alerts. Capable of analyzing any brand of vibratory equipment, the device detects potential overload conditions, lower performance rates and more.
NOMADX is an all-new segment of General Kinematics’ Field Service department dedicated to monitoring and analyzing equipment performance data. Through reports received by both APEX and VERTEX, it offers fact-based solutions to improve processing efficiency and implement maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly around the clock. Highlights of Nomadx include having experienced professionals available to analyze data; helping to solve process or production throughput issues; and data management.
