CBH Group complete first Network Storage Project for 2019-20 Harvest

Perth (WA), Australia The CBH Group has completed the first of the permanent storage expansion projects for the 2019 harvest, with works at the Gairdner receival site unveiled to growers and industry stakeholders on August 9th, 2019. Expansion works at Gairdner, located 150 kilometres north-east of Albany, included the construction of two open bulkheads that have a combined storage capacity of 46,800 tonnes. Fortescue Metals starts Construction of USD 1.275 billion Eliwana Mine and Rail Project

Perth (WA), Australia – On July 5, 2019, Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan has turned the first sod on Fortescue Metals Group’s Eliwana mine and rail project. The USD 1.275 billion project includes the construction of 143 kilometres of rail, a new 30 mtpa dry ore processing facility (OPF) and infrastructure. AkzoNobel to invest EUR 3 million in Changzhou Powder Coatings Plant

Amsterdam, The Netherlands – AkzoNobel has announced plans to add three new production lines at its Changzhou powder coatings plant in China – the company’s largest facility of its kind in the world. The EUR 3 million investment will support additional supplies of acrylic powder coatings, metallic powder coatings and powder primers for the automotive sector, strengthening AkzoNobel’s ability to deliver more locally produced premium products.
