NAIF made Investment Decision to support Development of Australia’s first Sulphate-of-Potash Project

Cairns (QLD), Australia – The Board of the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) has made an Investment Decision to provide Kalium Lakes Ltd. loans of up to AUD 74 million to support the Beyondie Sulphate of Potash Project (SOP), located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Given there is currently no SOP production in Australia this will create a new domestic industry. VTT develops novel Extruder that can turn problematic Waste into Pellets

Espoo, FinlandVTT‘s cylindrical extruder promises to revolutionise the processing of recyclable materials and thereby promote circular economy business. The extruder can be used, for example, to turn problematic textiles and plastics as well as food waste into pellets. The first prototype has already exceeded the industrial steering group’s expectations during initial testing. Doppelmayr: RopeCon Conveying System at Booysendal Platinum up and running

Wolfurt, Austria The RopeCon system which transports platinum ore from Booysendal South to the existing processing plant has recently gone into operation. The South African mining company Booysendal Platinum (Pty) Limited, a subsidiary of Northam Platinum Limited, is relying on technology by Doppelmayr for their expansion project at the Booysendal concession. Every hour, at least 909 tons of material will be transported over a distance of approx. 4.8 km through hilly terrain. Navis to equip Series of nine new Bulk Carriers with Bulk Version of MACS3 Loading Computer
