Meet our “bulk-online Leader”: The Köppern Group

Today, the Köppern Group is a modern, high-tech German group of companies at the forefront of plant and machinery manufacturing for various processes related to the fertilizer, cement, minerals and metalworking industries.

Köppern’s business is built on three different, but interrelated, process technologies:

  • Briquetting cold and hot briquetting predominantly for metallurgical applications
  • Compaction – for the production of fertilizers
  • Comminution – high-pressure grinding for the cement industry as well as for size reduction in the ores and minerals industries

Additionally we would like to highlight our highly innovative Wear Protection systems. First introduced in 1996 under the HEXADUR® brand and continuously developed since then, these solutions provide optimal wear protection for high-pressure grinding rollers (HPGRs).

To service these geographically widely-spread industries, we have developed a comprehensive network of regional subsidiaries, representatives and pilot plant facilities at locations throughout the world. This ensures that our customers benefit from the highest possible quality of supply and service, wherever their industrial sites may be.
